How it works

Research one. Challenge eight. Choose one.

Each month turns individual research into a group decision, a deliberately small personal purchase, and a record the chapter can return to.

MONTHLY ROUNDTHE METHOD

One complete cycle

  1. Find and research one case
  2. Check completeness and reveal submitted cases together
  3. Read before the meeting
  4. Question and challenge the thinking
  5. Vote, select, and buy independently
  6. Record what happens next

01 / THE ROUND

The meeting starts with work done beforehand.

The ritual repeats every month. Everyone contributes a case, every case gets a fair examination, and the chapter leaves with one selection.

01 / FIND

Look where others may not

Each member finds one Company, ETF, or Crypto investment they believe may be seriously undervalued.

02 / BUILD

Make the case

The case uses verifiable evidence, explains the possible misread, and names the strongest reason the thinking could be wrong.

03 / REVIEW

See them together

The platform checks required identification, marketplace, reasoning, sources, disclosures, and certification. Complete submitted cases are then revealed together before the meeting. This is a completeness check, not investment approval.

04 / CHALLENGE

Test the thinking

The chapter questions the evidence, looks for weak assumptions, and improves its view of every case in the round.

05 / SELECT

Rank first and second

Each member privately ranks two cases they did not submit. First choice receives two points and second choice receives one. Majority quorum, one extension, a first-place tie-break, and one private runoff protect the result. A round may close with no selection.

06 / REMEMBER

Buy small. Keep the record.

Members independently act on the fixed stake of 20 in their chapter's local currency. The original reasoning and what happens next remain in the Field Ledger.

The important boundary Keep your advisor. Recreational. Participatory. Proportionate.
02 / THE INVESTMENTS

Not just crypto. Three places to hunt.

The category changes, but the standard does not. A case must be understandable, legal, accessible to the chapter, and purchasable at a proportionate cost.

01 / COMPANY

Companies

A share represents a small ownership interest in a public company. The case may focus on a business the market has misunderstood, ignored, or priced too harshly.

Where people typically buy

Through a self-directed brokerage account. Fractional shares may make higher-priced companies accessible where the brokerage supports them.

02 / ETF

ETFs

An exchange-traded fund holds a collection of assets around an index, sector, theme, commodity, or strategy. The case is about the fund, not one company inside it.

Where people typically buy

Through the same kind of self-directed brokerage account used for public company shares, subject to market and account availability.

03 / CRYPTO

Crypto

A digital asset traded through cryptocurrency markets. The case must survive extra scrutiny around access, custody, liquidity, volatility, and the possibility of permanent loss.

Where people typically buy

Through a cryptocurrency exchange or a brokerage that supports the specific asset. Availability varies by platform and location.

Accessible to the chapter comes first.

No member should be required to open an unsuitable account or pay costs that overwhelm the fixed 20-unit local-currency stake. Members may honestly record purchased, not purchased, or unable to access after acting independently.

03 / WHO IT IS FOR

The right person wants to take part, not be told what to buy.

Profession, age, and wealth matter less than disposition. This is for capable adults whose financial foundations are already in place and who want a structured way to think with others.

01

You are curious enough to do the work

You want to research unfamiliar ideas, build an honest case, and learn through repetition rather than chase tips.

02

You can disagree without making it personal

You want your thinking challenged and can give the same scrutiny to someone else with candor and respect.

03

You will protect the monthly commitment

You are prepared to research, read, show up, vote, and remain part of the record after the novelty wears off.

04

You can keep the stakes in proportion

You understand that this is bounded speculation beside a responsible financial plan, not a financial lifeline or primary wealth strategy.

THE HONEST FILTER

What this is not.

Not a pooled fund or public investment-advice service.

Not a source of hot tips, hype, or coordinated promotion.

Not a competition for the loudest personality in the room.

Not a replacement for diversified long-term investing or professional advice.
